Respectful care of the deceased and timely completion of cremation process.

Your loved one will be attended to by certified crematory operators; each of whom has been trained to provide both compassionate care for the deceased, and conscientious attention to detail throughout the cremation process.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of the deceased.

There are many advantages to taking some time to remember the life lived, share stories and laugh about all of the memories. Our team can help you plan a fitting memorial service with or without the cremation urn present, at our facility or in a place of your choosing.

Traditional Cremation Services

These are traditional funeral services with a visitation and service prior to the cremation taking place. The casket, with your loved one, is present during the visitation and funeral service. Following the service, whether in our funeral home or at another facility, our staff would proceed with cremation service arrangements. Our licensed funeral directors and professional staff will be responsible for arranging all of the details and will work with you to ensure you receive our highest level of care.

Cremation with Memorial Service/Gathering or Celebration of Life

This service usually takes place following cremation; however, it can take place prior. This is dependent on the families' wishes of either having or not having their loved one's ashes present for the memorial or gathering. Most often, the family will have the cremated remains present for the service, others may choose a photo or flowers only. The service could take place in our funeral home or at a facility elsewhere. Our licensed funeral director and staff will guide you through the process and can be present for the services.

Direct Cremation

Families who do not have plans or who are uncertain of plans for a service, memorial or gathering for their loved one, may choose to have their loved one's cremated only. Once the cremation has been organized, your funeral director will continue to assist you in making plans to deliver your loved one's cremated remains (ashes) to your home or assist in the planning of a dedication service to place the cremated remains in a final resting spot. Our licensed funeral directors will direct the family through this process. If, and when, the family would like to further arrange for a service of any kind, we will be here to assist.

Living Funeral/Celebration of Life

A living funeral / Celebration of life is usually done by someone who knows that he or she does not have much time left to live. Whether the reason is that the person is terminally ill or is at an old age, the person knows death is near and could use it as closure. It is used to celebrate the happy times. Money is a big part of living funerals. This is another reason that people have them. Regular funeral prices can be extremely high. Having a living funeral can save some money. Some feel that the living funeral is more meaningful. In the end, it can be around the same price for the living funeral ceremony and when the person does eventually die, the burial or cremation.

Aspects of a Living Funeral

Most living funerals have the same aspects of a normal funeral, the deceased person aside. A common theme is for the funeral to start off the same way that a normal funeral would; sombre music, a casket, bible readings, etc. From there the tone is usually switched. Different music is played along with an all around happier atmosphere. The goal is for this to be happy, to celebrate a life and to give thanks to everyone attending. During a living funeral, families and friends will share stories and memories of the person who is nearing death. This ceremony is often a very happy event where there can be closure. The soon-to-be-deceased person often speaks about their life and who has affected it. Many people want to be able to show their appreciation through the living funeral. Friends and family of the person hosting the funeral will say things that they would have said at a normal funeral. Except now their loved one is there to hear it.
