Grief Resources
Grief is a natural process that can occur before or after a death. Some
symptoms of grief can include sadness, guilt, anger, sleeplessness, loss
of appetite, or physical discomfort. Grief takes time to recover from,
and for each person, the amount of time will vary. It is important to
deal with the feelings and emotions of the loss in order to move on with
the life without your loved one. Although death is a natural process,
a person who is grieving may feel they are completely alone in dealing
with the pain of the loss. Each month we offer a grief recovery program
called AfterLoss. This 8 page help letter is mailed directly to the family
to help them through the difficult months ahead without their loved one.
